Claim Your Google Adsense Earnings Through Unionbank of the Philippines Wire Transfer

I have been receiving Google Adsense earnings through Western Union every month for the past couple of years. This month, days before my scheduled payout, I got a notification from Google to change my payment method from Western Union to a wire transfer. Over the years, I only use my wife's Unionbank account in all my online transaction so I am not sure if I can use it for Google Adsense. I can only try to add it so I did.

I use the form below to add the new payment method. I only filled up the name on the bank account, bank name, SWIFT BIC, and account number.

Unionbank SWIFT BIC UBPHPHMMXXX.

On the date of payout, I received an email from Google that they sent the money already. I was anxious because I am not sure if that would go through the bank. The bank did not notify my wife or anything.

Usually, with Western Union, I can get the money once they sent the email with the MTCN code. But with the wire transfer, the only thing I can do is wait. One full day after I received the notification of the payout, I received the money on the bank. I thought it was going to take 5 - 10 days like what I read from forums.

So, that's it! My transition from Western Union to wire transfer was a success.

  3. Hello po. When adding a Bank account, it says "To receive payouts by wire transfer, contact your bank for exchange rates and fees. Bank account must be located in Philippines and in US Dollar currency."

Ok lang po ba kahit peso account yung BPI ko?

    1. I think hindi na necessary. In my case, I used my name on my Adsense account and the bank is under my wife's name. So far no problem.

Climbing Osmena Peak Traverse to Kawasan Falls in Cebu

At 1,013 meters above sea level, we reached the summit of Osmena Peak in Dalaguete, Cebu. It is considered to be the highest in the island. We were welcomed by a beautiful sunset view created by the sun hiding from the slopes of the mountains of Negros.

Trekking from Budlaan to Sirao Peak in Cebu

The Babag trekking group did another adventurous trekking. This time from Budlaan to Sirao; to conquer Sirao Peak.

We trekked thru the Kabang River in Budlaan then climb Sirao Peak which is approximately 750 Meters above sea level.

How we went there:

We met at sunny hills in Talamban then rode a habal-habal (25 Pesos each) going to Budlaan. Then from Budlaan, we went down to Kabang river and started trekking. We passed by 4 wonderful waterfalls then we   trekked to Sirao Peak. This whole trek started from 9 AM and ended at 5PM(where we reached the summit).

From Sirao, we rode habal2 again down to JY square. Fare is 50 pesos each.

Everytime I get to have a holiday break, I always see to it that I spend it with the things I love. One of these things is going to the beaches.

Unforgettable Overnight Stay at Karancho Beach Resort in Mactan Cebu

I had the chance to go back to Karancho beach resort in Mactan island of Cebu. This was the place where I had my first try of kayaking. That was 3 years ago and a lot have changed.

Our group went on an overnight stay just to enjoy a holiday break. We arrived at the resort at around 6 in the evening. Just the right time for the overnight rates to kick in.

The entrance fee was P60 each person and the cottage was P800. This is just good for 6PM to 6AM use. The cottage was just ok in terms of the size and there was only one outlet and only good for the lights. I had to say one outlet because we had a problem with it. We brought a laptop, a modem and a set of speakers. Too bad we were not able to use any one of them.

Anyway, time to prepare our dishes for the night. We brought along fish and pork to grill. We had to pay P50 for using the grill area. Of course we had other food like seaweeds (guso) and bam-i. We bought rice from outside. Good thing there is no drinks and and food corkage.
