8 SEO Strategies We Use To Rank an E-Commerce Website

7 months ago today my girlfriend and I launched an online makeup store targeting the Philippines. Before even launching the site, we already know that the way to go for this website to have long-term success is through search engine organic rankings. There was no other way around. This is a bootstrapped business so paid marketing is only the second option. The aim really was to gather free traffic through Google.

Fast forward today, the website is enjoying free organic traffic. We will share to you the top 8 search engine optimization strategies for online shopping in the Philippines that we employed to be on the top. At the end of this post, we will also show you some of the keywords that are currently ranking.

1. Keyword Research
Keywords are the foundation of a successful SEO campaign. We used the Google Adwords keyword tool to see which makeup-related keywords are being searched by the people from the Philippines and their corresponding search traffic. Since Keekay.ph offers only …

10 Majestic Waterfalls You Should Visit in Iligan

Nature has molded Iligan so well that it is dubbed as the "City of Majestic Waterfalls". The city is located in the Northern Mindanao and situated west of Cagayan de Oro. It houses a total of 23 waterfalls of different sizes and forms that can take your breath away. Visiting these waterfalls will surely refresh you in no time. From East to West: Cebu to Balamban Roadtrip Using Honda Zoomer X

This will be another motorcycle diary. I just bought my Honda Zoomer X and I was looking for a way to do the break-in. I did the same thing with my Honda Beat before where I went from Cebu City to Alcoy which is 3 hours south from Cebu.

Beat the Heat in Mt. Uragay Cold Spring Resort

This unusually hot summer prompted us to seek for a cold place to relax. We need to beat the heat in order to stay sane. We found a place somewhere in the quiet Carmen Cebu. Carmen is about an hour ride north if you are from Cebu City. The place is called Mt. Uragay Cold Spring. It did not fail to refresh us.

Wet and Wild Adventure: Wakeboarding

Another one off my bucket list - wakeboarding. This extreme sport can be found in Papa Kits Marina and Fishing Lagoon in Liloan, Cebu. It was my first time to try it and as a beginner, I gulped in maybe 2 - 3 glasses of seawater but it did not stop me from enjoying. Two of us rented the service for 2 hours for P800 each and the other 2 friends rented for 1 hour for P500 each. I bailed on almost every attempt to stand on the first hour but got the right balance on the second.

Affordable Vacation at Samal Island Camp Park

Because of Redhead's work opportunity in Davao, I was able to go with her and visit the place for the second time. The last time I was there was because of a colleague's wedding where we also enjoyed trekking Eden Park and feeding crocodiles. We stayed at one of her best friends, Lorelee, who also happens to be an adventure seeker. Before we set foot in Davao, Lorelee already had some places in mind for us to visit. One of the said places is the Samal Island Camp Park and Beach Resort.

7 Exciting Things To Do in Davao

“Life is Here” – This was what greeted us when we touched down the airport of Davao. The greeting did not fail us. We met a lot of people, created memories and bonded with Dabawenyos.  Life was truly in Davao.

This metropolitan is known as a source of the smelly but yummy fruit Durian and is as famous as its incumbent, fierce but good mayor, Rodrigo Duterte.  One can surely enjoy Davao in so many ways. Among them are as follows:

1.Feed crocodiles and other exotic animals
The place is located in Brgy Ma-a and is called Davao Crocodile Park. You will get to see crocs big and small. Not only that, exotic birds and rare find snakes are there to amuse you. The largest croc is called “Pangil” and was once a record-holder as the largest in the Philippines until Lolong came out. You can check out my detailed post last year.
